who we are

The Wisdom House is an orphanage in Idlib, Syria connected to Americans by the Syrian Emergency task force.

Our goal is to support/connect for years ahead.

The Syrian Emergency Task Force is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization created to support the Syrian people during the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

WHY IDLIB?

This is the last opposition stronghold located in the Syria's northwest, near Aleppo province. IDPs from around Syria have fled from their homes and landed in Idlib. It once had 2.5 million residents and now has around 4 million, including 1 million children. Hundreds of thousands or more people (including our community we support with the Wisdom House) have evacuated to northern Idlib closer to the Turkish border.

What people are saying

The future of our children and our planet depends on what we do or don't do now. Any message of compassion from outside Syria would mean the world to a child in our orphanage. We can be a light in the midst of darkness. Our mission is to connect people to people may be one of the most effective ways we can display love and shine a light on a brighter future for Syria and all of humanity.
